Just a quick update.....

I spent three hours the other day at the library looking through microfilmed newspapers. Made it through 21 days of news...and so far....nothing about the second trial. But it felt great to be at the library doing research again! Lots of things coming up this month, and the holidays are barely visible on the horizon...but they are coming! Quicker than we will be ready for their arrival! So, this research may seem slower going than I had hoped. But I'm plugging along.....

No Time Like The Present....

Ok, I have this binder FULL of a little bit of research on a murder back in the 1940's. What makes this murder so intriguing? It involves my family (actually two lines of ancestors) and the murderer was the husband and father of the four victims...

I'm planning on compiling the information; background of those involved, coverage of both trials (yes, there was two!) and the reported outcome....but did he really do it? Did he coldly murder his three children, the youngest just six months old? Did he abuse and finally kill his young, pretty wife? Oh...and there is a family relationship between husband and wife...one that tore the two families apart after the final trial....

Interested??? Stay tuned...this book is still in the research stages.....but I will be blogging on a regular basis to help keep me motivated.
